Project: Design Your Own
Step 1 Select option Design Your Own, then click okay.
Step 2Select Background Layer, and then select either Color or Pattern.
Step 3 Click on the image of one of the colors or patterns.
Step 4 Click on the workspace, which will fill it with your color or pattern.
Step 5 Click on Select Image, and then click on your selected image which will repeat it throughout your workspace.
Step 6 Resize and rotate your Images by first clicking on one of them, and then use the Zoom and Resize tool.
Step 7 Add a second Image by repeating the above process. Then click on the second image and drag it diagonally down to create isometric movement.
Step 8 Click on Save Swatch and you will be prompted to save and name your Swatch.
Step 9 If you don’t want to add any text or photos, or if you want to get yardage printed from your swatch rather than printing it yourself, you can stop here.
Step 10 You can add text or photos, and print your swatch at this point.
Step 11 Click on Insert Text and type directly on workspace.
Step 12 Use Magic Wand to insert photo, by clicking on Magic Wand, and then click on the area where you want to place the photo. This will remove the pixels from the selected area.
Step 13 Then click on Insert Photo, and click on your selected phot. This will place the photo over your Swatch.
Step 14 Click on Manage Layers and move Photo above your Swatch so that that the Photo appears behind Swatch.
Step 15 Click on Save Swatch.
Step 16 If you want to repeat the Swatch and print it yourself, click on Create Design and select print size.
Step 17 Print
